Newtown Harbour & Beaulieu River Tour

Service Description

Meeting at Bucklers Hard, we will board Lazy Daze for this gentle 5 hour cruise along the Beaulieu River and across the Solent to Newtown Harbour. After a boat tour of the harbour we will dock for around an hour where you can either join Marcus for a birdwatching walk around the nature reserve or retire to the centre for coffee and cake (coffee and cake will also be available on the boat) The western Solent is rich in wildlife with no two trips the same. This high-tide cruise will enable us to watch a great variety of birds and other wildlife from a unique viewpoint, while operating at a safe and responsible distance to ensure there is no disturbance. Our guests will be able to immerse themselves in the beautiful scenery of these tranquil corners of the New Forest and to take advantage of the fantastic photo opportunities of landscapes and wildlife. Maximum group size of eight; tea, coffee and cake is provided, we dock at the quay at Newtown, Isle of Wight for a short refreshment break mid-way. Lifejackets are provided, but note that there are no toilet facilities on board. Lazy Daze is fully licensed to operate on the Beaulieu River. Note, there is a £5.00 charge per car for parking at the Bucklers Hard marina.
