Volunteer with us
We occasionally have opportunities for dedicated volunteers to engage in our wildlife survey and monitoring work, and these are advertised via our social media channels. We have also launched a mentoring scheme for young wildlife enthusiasts, taking on 10 mentee's for the 2023 field season. Further opportunities will be advertised on our website and via our social media channels.
New Forest Wildlife Camp
Our hugely popular New Forest Wildlife Camps have been running since 2018. They are delivered by Wild New Forest and sponsored by the Cameron Bespolka Trust, and are aimed at young wildlife enthusiasts aged between 12 and 18. Illustrated blogs about our spring and autumn 2022 and 2023 camps can be found here and here and here. The autumn 2023 camp (see flyer below) will again be held at the newly renovated Cameron's Cottage at RSPB Franchises Lodge in the northern New Forest, and applications are now open.
The camp will run from 1800 on Friday
27th- 1600 Sunday 29th October.
To apply for the autumn 2023 camp, please download and complete the application form and return by email to info@wildnewforest.co.uk by 15th Oct 2023. Confirmation of attendance will be provided no later than 72 hours after this deadline.
