Spring Solent Wildlife Cruise

Service Description

A five and a half hour cruise encompassing the major wildlife habitats of the western Solent and western Isle of Wight. Heading out from Bucklers Hard we will explore the Beaulieu River before heading across to Newtown Harbour on the Isle of Wight where we will explore the many treasures this wildlife rich area has. From here we will head to Lymington for a pit stop and lunch break before heading back out to explore the seabird colonies of the western Solent. We will then head out of the Solent and around the Needles before exploring the nesting seabird habitats of west Wight while on the look out for migrant seabirds which as this time of year might include Gannets, Divers, Skua's and Auks. We will return to the Beaulieu River via the marshes between Lymington and Keyhaven with an option for another pit stop if needed. We will be on the water for six hours, tea, coffee and cakes are provided, there are no toilet facilities on board. The trip is weather dependent, in the event of poor weather we will look to reschedule, or refund if the new date isn't suitable.
